Washington

Our trip started with a 12 hour car ride that turned out to be more like 14 hours.  Driving against the wind does not make for an efficient trip!  Once we were there, though, we had a pretty great time!

Wednesday, we were able to watch the Moses Lake Stake production of Beauty and the Beast.  I was amazed at the amount of talent in such a small community!  Especially for being a church production.  The costuming and set were awesome and, of course, the thespians were wonderful.  My brother, Kyle, played as Gaston.  It was really good to see him on the stage, again.  We used to be in plays growing up, but neither one of us have been in a production since high school.  He did a great job, which moved us to tears (you know, funny ones).

That night we stayed at my dad's house.  We were able to ride around with him for a little while the next day.

Mack didn't like the horses, but...

he loved the cows.  He even asked if he could ride on them.
